Saudi Crown Prince says keen to support investment integration with Korea

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman affirmed his keenness to support opportunities for investment integration between the Kingdom and Korea in some sectors, including industry, renewable energy, communications and information technology, health, technology and innovation, transportation and services, as well as logistics, tourism, sports and culture.

The Crown Prince also highlighted the importance of strategic cooperation between the two countries in various fields of energy, Saudi Press Agency reported.

He also referred to the efforts to develop a framework to organize and enable innovation in energy and artificial intelligence (AI) projects that include supporting research projects, new operating models. This includes establishing a system and joint incubators for energy-related entrepreneurship, and providing support to promote innovation and AI in clean energy.

The Crown Prince also welcomed cooperation with Korea in the implementation of the huge projects being implemented in the Kingdom, and the infrastructure works related to these projects, most importantly the NEOM project, encouraging major Korean companies to invest and establish regional headquarters for them in the Kingdom.

He also highlighted the pivotal role of the Saudi-Korean Vision 2030 Committee in moving forward to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, and the role played by the joint vision in creating an umbrella that contributes to achieving partnerships between the two sides through qualitative economic, social and cultural initiatives and projects.

This was during the Crown Prince’s meeting with President Yoon Suk-yeol. Both parties discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries.
