Kuzan comes face-to-face with Garp in chapter 1081 of One Piece, titled “Tenth Ship Captain of the Blackbeard Pirates, Kuzan.”

It was a great chapter with a lot of information and some hard-hitting moments. Garp was shocked to see Kuzan present there protecting Blackbeard’s island, and by the end of the chapter, they started fighting. 

We finally got the answer to the long-awaited question about the fate of Law. To everyone’s relief, he is not dead but is badly injured and utterly defeated. However, Bepo’s last stand was the highlight of the chapter.

1. Chapter 1082 Discussion

Garp and Koby will continue their fight in chapter 1082 of One Piece. 

I. Will Garp take Kuzan back?

There are low chances of that happening because of the rift between Akoiji and Akainu. However, it is Garp we are talking about, so maybe he will be successful in getting everyone back to the base safely and force Akoiji into joining the Marines again.

II. Time to Shift back to Egghead

I think it is the right time to shift back to Egghead because we got the answer to some major questions, and this seems to be the perfect cliffhanger for Garp and Akoiji’s fight. 

I am really looking forward to whether Blackbeard will show up at Egghead at the right time or not. What will York do to Stella? Will Luffy manage to escape? I am can’t wait to get back to Egghead.

Chapter 1082 of One Piece will be released on Sunday, May 7, 2023. It is a weekly manga, and a new chapter is released every Sunday.

Garp does massive damage to the island. He still thinks he has lost his edge. The Marines are happy that Koby is alive. Koby thanks Garp for coming, while other SWORD members are quite dissatisfied with Garp’s comment about Koby being the future of Marines.

Suddenly, Hibari, who was behind Koby, freezes and Kuzan shows up. Garp orders Kuzan to undo his freezing, but he tells them that they can’t go escaping when Teech is not there. 

We get a flashback of when Blackbeard first met Kuzan. Two years ago, Akoiji and Akainu fought over the position of the next fleet admiral. At that time, on an island, Blackbeard finds Akoiji. 

Akoiji froze everyone present on the island. Blackbear tells him to undo the powers, but Akoiji dares him not to test him as he is in a state of mourning. Later, they both start drinking and enjoying themselves. 

Akoiji tells Teech about his fight with Akainu and that he lost one of his legs in the battle. Blackbeard talks about the other two poneglyphs out in the world, which are said to be held by a man with a burn scar. 

Later, Blackbeard offers Kuzan to join them not as a friend but as an alliance of interest. He will still be a free man and can do whatever he wants. We get back to the present. 

Garp orders Akoiji to come back to the Navy. The latter refuses and gets ready to fight them. He tries to freeze Garp with Ice Ball, but Garp rushes and throws him hard on the ground with Blue Hole. 

On Winner Island, New World, Blackbeard has finally defeated Blackbeard and destroyed his ship. At the end of the rope, Bepo uses the medicine Chopper gave him and unleashes a final attack on Blackbeard. 

However, his attack helps Law save his fruit from Blackbeard as the latter escapes to the sea while Bepo starts drowning in water.
