At least 17 vehicles, including an ultra-luxury Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan, were severely damaged when the walls and pillars of an abandoned factory collapsed in Xi’an, northern China.

According to local report, the vehicles belonged to a used car dealership and a car rental company located in the factory, with the latter suffering the most damage.

Both companies estimate their losses to be nearly 3 million yuan (£340,000). Recently released video captures the massive damages done to the Rolls-Royce during the incident on April 28th 2023.

The crushed rental Rolls-Royce Ghost, which is the most expensive amongst the damaged vehicles, had its A, B, and C pillars bent by the falling bricks.

The owner of the rental company, Zhou Shaolong, said that several experts had concluded that Rolls-Royce with a damage suspension system had reached the end of its useful life.
