The field system of the General Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques, the crowd management, the security system, and the authorities related to the service of pilgrims and worshipers in the Grand Mosque turned into a hive of continuous movement, ready to implement the plan for the night of the 27th of the blessed month of Ramadan. The General President of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, held a series of meetings with the leadership of the Presidency to implement the plan for managing crowds and promoting visitors inside the Grand Mosque in coordination with the security system to ensure the smooth flow of crowds and the provision of standard services for visitors.

The Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques mobilized more than 12,000 employees and thousands of cleaning and disinfection workers within the operational field teams; Using the best and latest technologies to serve the Two Holy Mosques and their destinations, and to control the promotion plan smoothly and to prevent bottlenecks in full harmony with the security system.

Al-Sudais: readiness and integration for the 27th night

Sheikh Al-Sudais continued, “In continuation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince to provide the utmost comfort and reassurance for pilgrims and visitors to the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, the Two Holy Mosques completed its preparations by 100% for the twenty-seventh night of the holy month.”

The Presidency has strengthened trolleys for those in need and the elderly by thousands for free. Corridors have been allocated for these trolleys, separating them from the movement of healthy people. Special stairs have also been allocated for people with special needs, and escalators have been operated to transport worshipers to the second floor and the roof of the Grand Mosque.

The Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques has doubled the distribution of cooled Zamzam water through containers in all the corridors and floors of the Grand Mosque, in addition to intensifying cleaning and watering work, increasing cleaning workers around the clock to cope with the increasing number of pilgrims, according to what was explained by Mohammed Al-Jabri, under-secretary-general for Agency of Services, Field Affairs and Environmental Protection.

The plan for the 27th night of Ramadan focuses on increasing the number of cleaners to remove the waste first-hand through twenty-four-hour shifts, equipping toilets, and mobilizing all units and field teams by 100% to perform their tasks.

To the millions of pilgrims who flocked early to the Grand Mosque to spend the night of the twenty-seventh in the Grand Mosque, which is one of the nights it is hoped to be the Night of Decree in a spiritual scene of the Grand Mosque, its courtyards, and the nearby neighborhoods that were filled with millions of people, seeking forgiveness, forgiveness, and freedom from Hellfire.

Al-Jabri: Floors washed 10 times daily 

Mohammed Al-Jabri, under-secretary-general for the Agency of Services, Field Affairs and Environmental Protection said that the presidency carries out cleaning and sterilization operations throughout the Grand Mosque, in addition to washing the floors ten times a day to ensure the safety of those who visit the Grand Mosque.

Al-Hujaili: Completely ready for Tafweej

Osama bin Mansour Al-Hujaili, undersecretary-general for Tafweej and Crowds Management, stated that preparations have been made to receive pilgrims and worshipers, and to prepare the paths designated for entering the al-Mataf and prayer halls, and to prepare the al-Mataf dish and the endeavor with systematic plans, procedures and mechanisms for managing crowds, which were developed in advance to ensure their safety and their arrival to their destinations easily and easily, while ensuring coordination. 

He indicated that effective and continuous communication with all concerned parties in the Grand Mosque is ongoing, which contributes to the success of managing the large crowds for the twenty-seventh night and controlling the promotion plan smoothly and preventing suffocation in order for them to perform their worship with reverence and reassurance.

Also, the Presidency ensures facilitating entry and exit, and ensuring the sterilization and cleaning of the Noble Sanctuary, its surface, its yards, and its facilities, in addition to distributing workers to the sites in sufficient numbers to cover the needs and provide the best services to visitors and worshipers.

The plan for the 27th night revolves around maximizing cooperation and coordination between the General Presidency, the Haram Security Force and crowd management, as they combine their efforts to organize the entry and exit process to and from the Grand Mosque, prevent sitting in the corridors leading to it, and prevent entry to the Sacred Mosque when leaving Tarawih prayer for a short period until Worshipers leave, to avoid any congestion that may occur at the doors.

The pillars of the plan also depend on applying the highest standards of quality, excellence and perfection, supported by human cadres of nearly 12,000.
